I have never entered the Fix-it Friday’s over on I Heart Faces so I decided this was the week. If you’ve never heard of FIF, it’s where someone submits an unedited straight out of the camera (SOOC in the photography world) and those that want to, can download and edit it for fun. Sounds cool, right?
Here you go. On the left is the unedited image and on the right is my edited version.
This was a very quick edit (it’s almost midnight!!). I used a little fill light and curves adjustment and then pulled it into Photoshop (I edit with CS5). From there, I removed the pink cast that the sucker was causing, lightened the eyes slightly, dodged and burned, and finished it off with a colored layer to give it a softer feel. Now I’m in the mood for some candy!
