When my husband and I were dating, the term "Real Promise" was created. It was our personal way of making sure the other person knew what had been said was honest and true. My Real Promise to you is that, as your photographer, I will capture moments in time that you will cherish forever. We will laugh, dance, and have a great ol' time... whatever it takes to get some killer portraits you will want to stare at forever.

I remember braiding my hair like this many years ago and I’m glad it’s making a comeback. I love the look of the messy fishtail braid on seniors and it’s super easy to transform into this hairstyle mid-shoot. Here’s a great tutorial from Forever 21!

I’m stepping outside of my normal elements and posting a little more high fashion shoot for you! 
This is me testing out some ring light shots. I think I’m in love. Not something I do every day but it sure is fun to play around with. I’m not usually one that can’t decide whether I like the color or black and white version of a photo more but this one has me stumped. What do you think? Color or Black and White?

I was browsing back through my images from Anna’s awesome session and happened upon this one that I couldn’t wait to post. I thought that there was no way I could hold off and not post this one, too. So, Anna, you are a special girl that gets TWO postings!
Can I just say WOW? I had the pleasure of meeting Anna yesterday evening for a fantastic photo shoot. Anna needed some updated head shots for her comp cards and I was flattered she chose me to do them. We chatted on the phone the week prior to our session and I got such a great vibe from her from the get go. I knew this session would be one for the books.
Anna came prepared with a suitcase of fantastic clothes and has the most gorgeous head of hair ever. I sit here with an unruly curly brunette mop and she showed up with flowing golden manageable locks. *green with envy* We decided to get started in a field before the light ran out and lucky we did because just past dusk, the sun sat quickly and the drizzle started. We shot our last few images of the night with lights in the rain. Fun stuff.
Anna, I hope you enjoy your images as much as I do. You rocked this session, girl, and I wish you the best of luck in the future. Come back and see me again!
