When my husband and I were dating, the term "Real Promise" was created. It was our personal way of making sure the other person knew what had been said was honest and true. My Real Promise to you is that, as your photographer, I will capture moments in time that you will cherish forever. We will laugh, dance, and have a great ol' time... whatever it takes to get some killer portraits you will want to stare at forever.

A few weeks ago, I was able to meet up with my good friend Heather to capture this wonderful moment in her life… her pregnancy. We decided for this shoot, we would bring it full circle. The NCSU belltower is where Scott proposed to Heather, so it was essentially where their future together began. We thought it was only fitting to photograph her perfect bump at the same location. I want to introduce to you Nichole of Nichole Louise Photography {Wilmington NC Newborn Photographer}. Nichole and I have been friends for a while now and I had the pleasure of capturing her beauty during her pregnancy with her second son. Nichole is full of life and so much fun to be around. I can’t wait to find out the name of Baby L and I had a lot of fun throwing out some of my favorites!

On Saturday, I had the joy of photographing David and Emily and their beautiful daughter Riley. David and Emily are welcoming their second child, a boy. I was super stoked that when Emily contacted me, she knew exactly where she wanted to shoot… on her parent’s land. It was perfect and so sentimental. We worked in the pines that were planted when Emily was a baby, and a blanket from Emily’s childhood. I love the little details that go into a photo shoot!
We got so many great pictures that I couldn’t narrow it down to my normal 2-3 so I stopped myself at 5! Enjoy your teaser!

Susan and I have been friends since college. We’ve had a lot of fun times together pre-marriage and babies and are now enjoying motherhood together. She’s surpassing me with the baby numbers, though, because she has two beautiful children already but is pregnant again…. with triplets. Triplet girls, at that. *faint*
I am super excited to showcase Susan’s maternity photos with the world. She’s currently 27 weeks pregnant and looks amazing! I cannot wait to get my hands on those tiny girls for newborn portraits. Be on the lookout later this fall!
